Dr. Subhadeep Mukherjee is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Management and Commerce and the Head of the Centre for Leadership Empowering Attitude Development for Sustainability (LEADS Next Gen Centre) at M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), Bengaluru. He is also currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Indibiotek Private Limited, an indigenous biotechnology startup focused on healthcare, agri-biotech, and scientific infrastructure solutions.
With over a decade of experience spanning academia, research, consulting, and industry, Dr. Mukherjee has previously served as a faculty member at the Department of Management Studies, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, and Sikkim Manipal University, and has held industry roles in Human Resource Management and Marketing. At RUAS, he actively mentors student entrepreneurs and innovators, driving leadership development and startup ecosystems through the LEADS Next Gen Centre.
A prolific researcher and academic leader, Dr. Mukherjee has published extensively in journals indexed in Scopus, ABDC, Web of Science, and UGC Care, and has contributed as an editor to international volumes published by Taylor & Francis, Springer Nature, and Eureka Publishers. His work has been presented at numerous national and international conferences. He has successfully completed an Sponsored Research Project, undertaken Corporate Consultancy assignments, and has filed a patent.
Dr. Mukherjee currently serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of Adhyatma: A Journal of Management, Spirituality and Human Values and is an active reviewer for several national and international Scopus-indexed journals. He is a Life Member of reputed professional bodies including AIMA, Indian Commerce Association, Indian Economic Association, CEGR (New Delhi), SSRN (USA), and SSHRA – ICBELLP.
