Asst. Prof. Dr. Abraham Deka is an academic and researcher in the fields of economics, finance, and sustainable development. He holds a PhD in Economics from Near East University, where his doctoral research focused on the role of effective capital, renewable energy, and energy efficiency in advancing sustainable development across EU countries. He also earned his Master's degree in Banking and Finance from the same institution, with a thesis on forecasting exchange rates and inflation using ARIMA models.
Currently serving as an Assistant Professor, Dr. Deka actively supervises both Master's and PhD candidates, guiding research at the intersection of green finance, digital innovation, institutional quality, and ESG performance. His ongoing supervision includes studies on green financial technology, digital currency adoption, sustainable entrepreneurship, and the role of technology in environmental governance.
With a strong commitment to bridging academic research and real-world policy challenges, Dr. Deka's work contributes to the global dialogue on how business, technology, and innovation can drive sustainable development.
