Chair of EGOS 2018, Vice Chair of EAA 2014, Chair of EURAM 2011 Professor Ruth Alas is the Head of the Department of Management of Estonian Business School (EBS) Ruth Alas conferred a PhD in the Department of Economics at Tartu University in 2004. Scientific degree: 2004 Doctor philosophiae (economics), Tartu University "Organisational changes during the period of transition in Estonia : major influencing behavioural factors“ Ruth Alas has published more than 20 books on management, tens of chapters for different books and over 100 articles in publications in Estonia and foreign journals and magazines. She represents Estonia in several organisations involved in international scientific research and conducts organizational research in Estonian companies. Ruth Alas is a member of the Academic Council of the Academy of Management and at the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM). She organises a series of conferences related to the management of change and organisational development. The events take place annually in different countries. Ruth Alas has given presentations and lectures in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and America.
